Bridgetown, the capital of Barbados, has been the newest main base of the Ritz Carlton Collection since November 2023. The hotel group's noble yacht is now circumnavigating the island on a 7-day tour. The "Concierge Ashore" organizes individual excursions for guests: to the impressive cave world of Harrison's Cave and the Barbados Wildlife Reserve. The yacht also sails from Bridgetown to San Juan in Puerto Rico, Oranjestad on Aruba and Tenerife. The yacht plays all the pieces: Each suite is 101 m2 in size and has a 59 m2 balcony. Each suite also has two bathrooms. The culinary program in the S.E.A. Restaurant is designed by Sven Elverfeld, the chef who was awarded three Michelin stars at the RC Restaurant Aqua in Wolfsberg. Of course, specialties from the island such as breadfruit and lobster are also served. Direct flights to Barbados from the DACH region have also recently become available: Condor flies to the island from Berlin-Brandenburg, Bremen and Basel. Budapest is also a destination for the airline.
