Antigua & Barbuda Restaurant Week
Caribbean gourmet festival!
For the first time in its history, Antigua & Barbuda is holding a gourmet festival. From May 7 to 21, restaurants on the islands in the Lesser Antilles will be serving up the best the region has to offer. The restaurateurs will be putting together special menus at reduced prix-fix prices of $25, $50 and $75. Simpler restaurants and residents of Antigua and Barbuda also participate in the "eat like a local" program, serving guests local specialties such as saltfish and pepperpot. Sheer Rocks is a romantic restaurant on a rock overlooking the sea. Here, chef Jamal Warner and the Rocks Group's award-winning chef Simon Christey serve French tomato lobster bisque, a spicy seafood curry and dark chocolate soufflé.
