The hotel occupies the former headquarters of the Erste Group on Petersplatz, a 19th-century landmark where Mozart once composed his opera “The Abduction from the Seraglio.”
Just a few steps from the elegant shops and restaurants of the Graben, Kohlmarkt and Tuchlauben, the Rosewood Vienna offers 103 spacious rooms and suites.

In collaboration with the art agency Atelier27, works by leading international artists have been commissioned to adorn these elegant spaces. The Royal Graben House is impressive: 175 square meters of living space, ceilings nearly seven meters high, and a magnificent 19th-century stucco salon—lovingly restored down to the smallest detail. The St. Peter’s Suite, in turn, offers a breathtaking view of the Baroque St. Peter’s Church through floor-to-ceiling windows, while the Wellness Suite, with its own sauna and steam room, invites guests to unwind.
A central feature of the design concept is the ARTrium—an architecturally striking reception area that also serves as an inspiring venue for cultural encounters. Exhibitions are held here regularly.
The “Neue Hoheit Restaurant” is also located on the sixth floor of the Rosewood Vienna, offering a breathtaking view of the rooftops of Vienna’s Old Town. The cuisine draws on Austrian tradition yet reinterprets it with modern lightness and creative sophistication. The menu combines regional ingredients with international inspiration—a culinary bridge that unites down-to-earth roots with cosmopolitan flair. The “Neue Hoheit Bar” also offers stunning views and is open both day and night. The emphasis here is on a curated selection of high-quality signature cocktails and modern interpretations of classic bar fare. One floor higher, on the roof of the building, lies THE1835—named after the year the building was constructed.
