Radisson Blu Das Triest Hotel, Vienna

Located near Karlsplatz subway station in the 4th district, the Radisson Blu Das Triest Hotel Vienna affords the perfect base from which to explore Vienna in all its facets.

It originally served as a stop on the imperial stagecoach route between Vienna and the coastal city of Trieste, from which it takes its name, and was already an important meeting place for travelers and merchants as early as the 18th century. This iconic urban gem opened in 1995 as the city’s first boutique design hotel under the name “Das Triest” and was renowned for its architectural character, stylish ambiance, and illustrious guests. Among others, Whitney Houston, Johnny Depp, and Robbie Williams spent a few nights there. Following its closure in 2022 and an extensive renovation, it now operates as the Radisson Blu Das Triest Hotel, Vienna.
