Hotel Imperial, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Vienna
The name says it all: Haus am Ring has been truly "imperial" for more than 150 years. Then, now and certainly in the future.
Imperial charm
Furnished with valuable furniture, silk wallpaper and decorated with historical details, the rooms also offer modern comfort via air conditioning, sound system and HD TV. The turn-of-the-century style clearly defines the décor of the 138 spacious rooms and suites, which can be seen in the marble statues, crystal chandeliers and precious antiques. All in all, this creates a luxurious ambience in the style of the Neo-Renaissance, which is seamlessly continued in the spacious marble bathrooms. While the classic, newly built rooms on the upper floors enjoy a fantastic view of the Ring, the airy room heights in the lower area impress with their appearance. Functional detail on the side: different suite and room categories can also be combined with each other via connecting doors.
Splendid cuisine
The Hotel Imperial combines several of Vienna's best venues in the 1st district, which now shine in highly elegant splendour after extensive revitalization. The gourmet restaurant OPUS, which has been awarded three Gault&Millau toques, impresses with light dishes made from regional ingredients, among other things. The Café Imperial Wien - an institution in Vienna since 1873 - has always celebrated the very best coffee house tradition, combined with the finest cuisine, discreet service and the most exclusive champagne breakfast in the city. Speaking of champagne: the social heart of the hotel, beyond the guests, is called the "1873-HalleNsalon": a glamorous meeting place with an elegant bar (including cozy wing chairs) and a timelessly sophisticated ambience. This has established itself as a haven for art and artists and, like the banquet and marble hall, serves as the backdrop for the legendary Imperial Champagne Brunch.
Imperial musical enjoyment
The Hotel Imperial is also known for its musical passions. As an aside, it should be mentioned that numerous rock, pop and classical music stars stay exclusively at the "Imperial": so if you happen to bump into Mick Jagger, Mariah Carey or Jean-Michel Jarre during your visit - that would be quite normal. But even without these stars, there is plenty going on musically.
