Hotel Palais Chotek

The EST® Hotel Palais Chotek will open in winter 2025 just a few minutes' walk from Vienna's famous Ringstrasse.

The history of the palace, part of which is a listed building, dates back to the 19th century. Built in 1871 by architect Lothar Abel for Otto Graf Chotek in the style of the New Viennese Renaissance, it was later used by the renowned furniture company Friedrich Otto Schmidt. EST acquired the building in 2019 and began renovating it in 2021.

The stylish hideaway combines historical elements with modern design, fine materials meet handcrafted details. Old and new complement each other to create a harmonious whole - a place of tranquillity and inspiration.

The 164 rooms and suites also combine stucco, fine wooden floors, coffered ceilings, fine materials and high-quality furniture to create a harmonious overall experience. Visitors will find particular peace and quiet in the "inner gardens": Green inner courtyards that create a beautiful green oasis in the middle of the city - ideal for relaxing, inspiring encounters or productive work, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Surrounded by Vienna's famous sights such as the Votive Church, Rathausplatz, Hofburg and St. Stephen's Cathedral, Palais Chotek is the ideal starting point for discovering Vienna. Many of the city's highlights are easily accessible on foot or by public transport.
