Längenfeld in Tyrol is home to a gem made of wood, glass and stone, where hospitality, passion and enthusiasm for nature are at home: Built in glue-free solid wood construction with Tyrolean sheep's wool insulation, the 5-star hotel was the first design, nature and wood hotel in Austria. The natural building material wood was used to create a soothing, healthy indoor climate - as one of the most beautiful ecological hotels, the hotel rightly deserves the title "best natural hotel". Look forward to a unique and sustainable living and vacation experience - because resource-saving architecture, heat from biomass and exclusively certified electricity from renewable, CO2-neutral energy sources set the tone here! Particular attention was paid to the design of the 59 rooms and suites: The wood of the walls and furniture, in combination with the harmoniously coordinated colors, creates a calming, cozy ambience in this wood-dominated design and wellness hotel. Built as a low-energy building, the nature hotel not only meets the latest ecological standards, but also the highest aesthetic demands. Generously and comfortably furnished, all rooms offer plenty of space and freedom of movement. The 87 m² Waldklause Suite is particularly luxurious: surrounded by design-oriented woodwork and an elegant interior, a living area with table, bench and couch as well as a sleeping area with panoramic terrace and its own spring water fountain ensure an all-round successful stay. At the end of 2017, new, breathtaking suites with their own wellness area, fireplace or private pool were added to the existing hotel building - unsurpassed and truly dreamlike! The panorama pool suite impresses with a total of 180 m².
In the NaturSPA, you can expect comprehensive well-being and relaxing pampering on around 1,800 square meters - carefully embedded in the trees on the grounds. In the heated outdoor pool, you can glide weightlessly through the water at any time of year, while in the brine whirlpool you can enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains. The spacious sauna area will delight you with its Finnish sauna, steam baths, Tyrolean herbal sweat room and the enchanting tree sauna with forest views - followed by peace and relaxation in the Room of Silence. Five first-class treatment rooms for unforgettable massages and beauty treatments in the NaturSPA and the fitness room round off the generous offer.
At the Naturhotel Waldklause, eating is not simply synonymous with being full - it means enjoying culinary delights and being pampered with regional specialties in a modern and comfortable ambience. The entire Naturhotel kitchen was redesigned as part of the ambitious refurbishment in 2017, the dining room was generously extended and new buffet rooms were added. The kitchen team led by head chef Gabriel Holzknecht conjures up the finest dishes from wholesome and fresh regional products - the "Waldklause Naturküche" is wellness for the senses. The dishes should not only taste great, but also be easy to digest and provide the body with as many nutrients as necessary in a light way. Fresh herbs, fruit, vegetables and regional organic products play a key role here. We are also particularly proud of the selection of fine wines and the knowledge and palate expertise of graduate sommelier Florian Auer: you can choose the best wine from his vinotheque and wine cellar every day for an enjoyable evening.
