Back to the original roots and filling the space gained with meaning - the new Hotel eriro in Ehrwald at the foot of the Zugspitz massif sets new standards in terms of originality and deceleration. At an altitude of 1,550 meters, it is the smallest luxury hideaway in the Alps with just 9 suites. You arrive by cable car and leave your car in the covered carport in the valley during your stay.
The architecture of the eriro is simple and clear, the interior has a purist design. After all, the aim here is to concentrate on the essentials and focus on the value of simplicity. Local materials such as stone, wood, wool, furs and loden characterize the suites and create an ambience of security. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring nature inside with its play of light and color. In winter, a flickering open fire provides cozy warmth.
Nature also plays an important role in the spa. The floor is uneven, like a dirt path made of small round stones, which encourages you to explore the world barefoot.
