Golden SPA moments

An infinity pool extended to 22 meters, which protrudes over the edge of the terrain, an innovative foam steam bath as well as a cold water pool with waterfall and a whirlpool ensure exceptional wellness experiences. Here, the Seer host family invites you to experience the five-star hotel with all your senses. Because home is important and omnipresent at DAS.GOLDBERG. It doesn't always have to be faster, higher, further. To anchor sustainability even further in the hotel concept, it goes deeper. An additional heat pump with a deep borehole of 6,000 meters cools the pool in summer and heats it in winter.

Situated in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park, DAS.GOLDBERG is enthroned in a secluded location on the high plateau and blends naturally into the surrounding mountain landscape. With the largest nature reserve in the Alps right on your doorstep, you can start the day with a hike or bike tour in summer. Over 350 km of hiking trails are available and can be explored either alone or with the hotel's own hiking guide Christian. You can also hire hiking poles or mountain bikes directly from the hotel. For golf lovers, there is a 50% discount on the green fee at the Gastein Golf Club. In winter, the hotel is right next to the ski slopes. So get on your skis and hit the slopes!

Relaxing hours

After an active day, body and feet can fully regenerate in the newly designed Nature's Nest nature spa. Either at the natural pool with its own sandy beach and cocktail in hand or in the infinity pool, which invites you to linger with its view of the valley and the surrounding landscape. A herbal and Finnish sauna as well as a steam bath and an infrared cabin also promise relaxation. The GOLD.STOLLEN, a tepidarium inspired by the Gastein healing gallery, provides a change of pace. You can relax in the cozy atmosphere of the various relaxation rooms with a view of the mountain panorama. Here, nature is brought inside and various themed areas such as forest and meadow allow your thoughts to wander.

Rooms with a view

All 65 studios and suites face the valley or south and bring the surrounding nature inside thanks to large glass fronts. The rooms have also been given a makeover and thanks to new materials such as linen-covered walls and gold veins, the hotel shows where its name comes from. As exclusive retreats with their own wellness area, three SPA.SUITES with a choice of 60 or 90 square meters inspire   A private sauna (either Finnish, infrared or saunarium) guarantees individual well-being. This is only surpassed by the impressive Spa Chalet.

Culinary delights

Valuable ingredients from Austria, the region and the producer next door on your plate. An unobstructed view of the valley and the mountains of the Hohe Tauern National Park before your eyes. At DAS.GOLDBERG, the excellent cuisine is not just a treat for the palate. With a deep awareness of their homeland and its roots, guests enjoy exquisite ingredients from nature, creatively combined and processed, from breakfast to fine dining under the motto "Forest.Meadow.Valuables". The vegan and vegetarian buffet is also presented in a new way with old chests and tables, a tree trunk as a shelf and woven baskets: "market stalls" just like at the local market.

In the evening, a six-course menu will delight gourmets and foodies alike. From Austrian classics to creations with flavors from cuisines around the world, the regularly changing menu leaves nothing to be desired. Alternatively, guests can choose the Chef's Choice. This is a creative surprise menu that is put together daily by the chefs with great attention to detail and variety. The evening menu also includes exclusive dishes such as matured steaks and special types of local fish. Guests can also choose from 450 regional and international wines, including rare and typical wines from Austria.

Goldberg enjoyment highlight: A visit to the Feuer.Bar in winter. With artfully created skewers - vegetarian, vegan or with meat - or with high-quality steaks from the maturing cabinet, the day comes to a fitting end here. Grilling is done on charcoal or directly on the table grill.
