TOP Relaxation
Naturally, even in the world’s most snow-reliable winter sports resort, snow does fall at times—and should the mood for skiing wane, guests may instead indulge in a perfect wellness day at TOP Hotel Hochgurgl: Those seeking respite and discerning spa enthusiasts can anticipate a rich array of effective and traditional treatments at the TOP Mountain Spa. In addition to an 18-metre indoor pool and a heated outdoor pool situated directly beside the ski slope, guests may select from a range of saunas. These encompass a herbal sauna, a Finnish sauna, a bio sauna, an outdoor sauna, and a salt-water steam bath—all framed by the breathtaking mountain panorama of the snow-covered Alps.
TOP Pampering
: A refreshing drink in the afternoon beneath the brilliant Alpine sun, traditional fondue in the snug Murmel-Stube, or fine dining with a four-course menu in the evening—the TOP Hotel Hochgurgl offers its guests exceptional cuisine and abundant variety. Whether it’s the daily changing menu in the restaurant, the over 500 fine wines in the wine cellar, or the hearty specialties on the sun terrace right next to the ski slope—at the TOP Hotel Hochgurgl, every guest will find exactly what their heart—or palate—desires. The culinary concept centres on regional products and dishes given a modern twist. In addition to the daily four-course menu in the restaurant—with its two historic dining rooms adorned with wood panelling and carvings from the 12th and 15th centuries—the Murmel-Stube offers an additional experience: traditional fondue. Guests may savour this Alpine classic in two variations—meat and cheese fondue—or share small dishes cooked on a hot stone, an ideal moment to reflect on the day’s adventures. On 14 November, the TOP Hotel Hochgurgl opens its doors in perfect synchrony with the start of the winter-sports season in the Obergurgl-Hochgurgl ski area of the Ötztal Alps: The extra-long ski season at 2,150 meters continues until mid-April, and just over a week after the opening, the world’s top men’s and women’s slalom skiers will test the spectacular slopes directly above this luxurious ski-in, ski-out winter retreat during the FIS Ski World Cup in Hochgurgl on November 23 and 24.
