Culinary delights in a class of their own
The culinary variety and quality are in no way inferior to the extensive spa offerings. True gourmets will find the Quellenhof to be a premier destination for fine dining: Here, Chef Michael Mayr and his team enchant their guests with culinary masterpieces. The “Quellenhof Gourmetstube 1897,” with its 14 exclusive seats, was awarded three toques by Gault Millau Austria in 2024, and the Schlemmeratlas 2024 also awarded it four magnificent cooking spoons, “The Great Restaurant & Hotel Guide” named the “1897” “South Tyrol Restaurant of the Year 2018” and awarded it four toques in 2024.
In South Tyrol’s first teppanyaki restaurant (Japanese restaurant), true masters are at work. The Quellenhof chefs have learned from the best. Xiao Wang—one of the most sought-after teachers of authentic teppanyaki cuisine—and Toshio Kobatake took them under their wing for an entire year and initiated them into the art of authentic teppanyaki cuisine. Over 1,200 labels, with a focus on South Tyrol and Italy, are stored in the Quellenhof’s three wine cellars.
