There are many reasons why young and old want to enjoy a well-deserved break from everyday life here in the Dolomites. The cozy yet stylish ambience and the warm hospitality of the Kofler family are just a few of them. The family takes care of their guests with individual service, with the main focus on young visitors. In addition to 23 spacious rooms and suites, the area offers the Eco Lodges. Ten modern apartments are located just 50 meters from the main building. "We had the idea for a new building with fully equipped apartments to complement Hotel Maria back in 2015," says hotelier Christoph Kofler. However, the coronavirus pandemic delayed the project.
The ground-breaking ceremony finally took place in August 2024, and thanks to the fast solid wood construction method, the first guests were able to check in for the winter season in December - just a five-minute walk from the nearest lift in the Obereggen ski area.
The luxurious vacation apartments are available, for example, with their own Finnish sauna or as a sky loft on two floors. Unusual: guests can order services such as breakfast, laundry or dinner via WhatsApp. The handover takes place contactlessly via a separate closet in front of each apartment, which can be opened with the room card. The Maria wellness area and the hotel's own activity program are included in the price, and childcare can be booked in addition.
For lovers of spectacular views, the Sky Lofts with a second floor are just the thing. Apartment guests can use the hotel's wellness area and in-house activity program as well as childcare from eight months for a fee.
Guests at the lodges have the choice: cook for themselves, eat in the surrounding Alpine pastures and restaurants or enjoy the evening menu at Hotel Maria. This flexibility makes the vacation varied and individual. Guests at the main hotel can expect a generous culinary offering. Regardless of the choice, young and old alike can look forward to refined South Tyrolean cuisine, which focuses on regional products and takes children's tastes into consideration.
In the spa area with bio sauna, brine and aroma steam bath as well as Finnish sauna for adults and indoor pool with toddler area for the little ones, parents can relax and unwind while the children let off steam.
For active holidaymakers, there are hikes, mountain bike tours with bikes on loan from the hotel, child-friendly climbing courses and a zipline in the nearby high ropes course with rope slides up to 15 meters high - ideal for teenagers.
