In winter, the focus is on downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, sledding, and ice skating. Those who love excursions, culture, and shopping will find plenty of opportunities in Brixen with its romantic old town, Neustift with its Baroque church, and Bolzano with its colorful fruit market. Verona, Venice, and Lake Garda are also just a few hours away.
