OLM Nature Escape
The Eco Aparthotel&OLM - Nature Escape is located in the middle of a tranquil alpine landscape in the South Tyrolean mountains with cows, lambs and horses: not a classic hotel, but a charming Eco Aparthotel.
Sustainability everywhere
The OLM with its 33 suites in elegant alpine chic is the first energy self-sufficient eco aparthotel in the Alps. The hotel is completely energy self-sufficient and is powered by geothermal energy (geothermal heat), solar energy and hydropower. It is no coincidence that the round millstones of the former mill were the architectural inspiration for the circular building. The impressive architectural designs were created by Andreas Gruber. The owner, Christian Lechner, who comes from the valley, sees genuine sustainability not as an advertising phrase, but as a mission for the future. The 60-metre inner circle of the OLM is also designed as a wild relaxation garden with a natural bathing pond in line with the eco concept. The heated, 25-metre-long sports pool, which extends from the indoor sauna and relaxation rooms into the open air, can be used all year round with a clear conscience thanks to its own electricity.
Enjoy at your leisure
The cuisine also follows the guiding principle of informal freedom and meets the standard of an apartment hotel. OLM head chef Berni Aichner, sous-chef to Michelin-starred chef Norbert Niederkofler for many years, has developed a very special, revolutionary "pleasure at will" concept together with Michelin-starred chef Theodor Falser (TF Culinaria) as a consultant. Breakfast consists of hand-picked, local products with a high organic content, otherwise guests can either enjoy an individual "dine-around" in the region or use the apartment's kitchenette for self-catering, depending on their mood. Or guests can be inspired by the culinary calendar of the OLM kitchen with its seasonal, South Tyrolean-Mediterranean specialties, which they receive around two weeks before their arrival, in order to experience enjoyable evenings according to their individual wishes during their stay. Highlights include dumpling evenings, APERÒ dinners and the cocktail menu in the Prenn° Bar.
Varied holidays
As a quiet side valley of the Pustertal, flanked by the pretty towns of Bruneck and Sand in Taufers, the easily accessible Tauferer Ahrntal is a little off the beaten track. And that's a good thing! More than 80 three-thousand-metre peaks provide an impressive mountain backdrop and the best conditions for hiking, (e)biking, winter hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing
