Hotel Belvedere
The Hotel Belvedere is located high up on a rock in the dreamy mountain village of Jenesien with a population of 3,000 above Bolzano.
The Hotel Belvedere has been around since the 1960s, and there are still two buildings to remind us of this. An extensive extension and conversion project was launched in 2016. The hillside location of the Hotel Belvedere is a special feature that is further emphasized by the architecture of the new building. Colored exposed concrete, rough surfaces and oak windows give the hillside wing below the garden its very special flair. The next refurbishment took place in 2019, with the progressive motto not bigger but better.
The 50 rooms and suites impress with plenty of space and light, while high-quality, authentic fabrics and materials create a sense of comfort. The ten new suites in the Hangbau building with their straightforward and stylish design make the hearts of modern residential architecture beat faster.
Renewed wellness world
In the course of the renovation, the Hotel Belvedere not only received an enlarged spa with saunas, treatment rooms and relaxation oases on several levels as well as an additional panorama sauna. The absolute hit is the new infinity pool with spectacular views from the Dolomites over the Bolzano valley basin to the Mediterranean-style vineyards in Überetsch. The color scale of nature was taken as a model and the extension with the ten new suites was planned and set into the porphyry rock in such a way that it becomes one with the movement of the landscape. A new outdoor sauna with a magnificent view over Bolzano has been created in the extension to the pool. The result: 2 lilies from the Relax Guide 2021. Spacious, light-flooded rooms connect with nature and offer magical views.
The fitness area also impresses with an innovative concept: workouts here train flexibility, coordination, strength, endurance and speed in equal measure.
Taste experiences
The cuisine of young Sarntal Valley chef Armin Tobanelli combines the best of two worlds: Mediterranean lightness and Alpine tastiness. A special highlight is a gourmet evening in the atmospheric ambience of the old wood-paneled parlor in the Fine Dinig Restaurant Frieda's. You should definitely try a fine drop from the exquisite South Tyrolean wine selection. Over a fine dinner or later at the bar.
