Fontis luxury spa lodge
The Fontis luxury spa lodge is surrounded by meadows and forests at an altitude of 1,250 meters in the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site. The retreat in South Tyrol, which opened in 2021, offers relaxation at the highest level - and is "green" all along the line. The hosts Julia and Margit Steinmair consistently combine "Green SPA" with sustainable construction and "Eco Farming" in the mountains of the Gsieser Valley.
In the "Dolomites Infinity Outdoor Pool", which is ecologically heated all year round, you have the feeling of swimming directly into the sky, which is reflected in the water. Each individual luxury suite with covered outdoor terrace has a private sunbathing and relaxation lounge with access to the organic bathing lake with its pure mountain spring water.
The exceptional feel-good factor
The natural materials used in the elegantly minimalist design ensure a healthy feel-good climate. Whether walking in the blossoming wellness garden, in the "Fontis Natur-Park" or hiking, biking, skiing - the mountains of the Pustertal Valley are right on your doorstep. Guests of the Refugium can use the 3,500 m² "Luxury Wellness & SPA" at the nearby sister establishment Hotel Quelle Nature Spa Resort and enjoy its exclusive vitality and beauty offer, which combines the power of alpine plants and ancient healing knowledge with modern spa treatments.
In the unspoiled valley, the green hideaway produces vegetables, alpine herbs and edible flowers on its own eco farm. Seasonal fruit spreads from the berry bushes, chicken and quail eggs from the poultry house, honey from the beehives and fish from the hotel's own fishing waters are among the finest. All these treasures of nature go straight from the garden to the plate at Fontis Kulinarium. And the best thing is: Interested hobby gardeners can grow and harvest their own produce if they wish.
