Korb Castle Hotel
3rd place: A prime spot for connoisseurs: The Resort Schloss Hotel Korb near Bolzano is a gem in South Tyrol.
A place to fall in love with
In the 13th century, a residential tower amidst a landscape of countless castles; by the 19th century, already a castle; and 80 years later, already in the hands of the Dellago family. As you climb the winding staircases, you feel as though you are still conquering the historic castle, yet you sink into the elegant, cozy ambiance of your suite. From the soft bed adorned with Swiss stone pine pillows, your final glance before falling asleep is at the glittering lights of Bolzano, and in the morning, the sun shines over the lush vineyards. Ultimate relaxation awaits in the wellness area. The outdoor wellness area has been expanded to include a barrel sauna and a pavilion for massages.
On the family-owned vineyard surrounding the 4-star superior resort Schloss Hotel Korb, treasures are ripening whose infinite richness of aromas is appreciated by wine lovers around the world. Host Fritz Dellago cultivates his precious wines with passion and dedication. The same goes for the excellent dishes that come out of the kitchen.
Oases of Relaxation
At the Italian Pool Award, the hotel’s long-standing landscaping partner, “Tschigg Garden,” won the highly coveted award for the hotel’s beautiful natural pool! The expert jury’s rationale particularly highlights the gentle and harmonious integration into the surrounding landscape with its architectural features. The infinity pool is also award-winning; like the pond, it operates entirely without the addition of chemicals. The so-called biofilm that settles in the pool cleans the water in conjunction with its own adjacent filter basin. Another outdoor pool offers just as many beautiful moments as the indoor pool and the sauna world.
