For the tenth year in a row, the gourmet restaurant and the cuisine of head chef Martin Köhl have been awarded 15 points and 3 Gault Millau toques. Every day, guests are treated to an à la carte gourmet menu in the panoramic restaurant with a view of the local Latemar mountain, which, accompanied by exquisite wines from the exquisite wine selection, will delight gourmets and connoisseurs alike. The food is cooked with an Alpine touch and Mediterranean lightness. Regional dishes are created with finesse using the best ingredients from Val d'Ega farmers.
In summer, Obereggen is the ideal place for hiking, biking, golfing and Nordic walking. Not far from the Sonnalp, 8 adventure trails lead through the landscape of the Latemar massif. Highlights include the "latemar.360°" panoramic platform at 2,200 meters above sea level. And the Obereggen high ropes course. For bikers and e-bikers, there are 800 MTB kilometers, single trails and flowing freeride tours available. If you want to improve your handicap, the Petersberg (18 holes) and Karersee golf courses are only 15-20 minutes away from Obereggen. New goodie: All guests receive the Guest Pass Eggental for the duration of their stay, for unlimited use of public transport such as buses, regional trains or cable cars.
