Alpenroyal
The Alpenroyal Grandhotel - Gourmet & Spa manages the balancing act between tradition and modernity. The design of the Alpenroyal Spa is an excellent example of this. The hotel has received awards for its outstanding achievements in the gourmet sector - not just membership of the "Leading Hotels of the World".
The Alpenroyal Grandhotel - Gourmet & Spa spreads out like a horseshoe right at the beginning of the village of Wolkenstein. Within this horseshoe is a 15,000 m² park with a heated outdoor pool, the "Kurat" swimming lake and the new wellness area. Selva Gardena itself lies at an altitude of 1543 meters above sea level in Val Gardena and offers magnificent views of the Dolomites. There are virtually no limits to outdoor activities here, ranging from hiking to skiing, from events to visits to numerous sights.

You don't have to leave the hotel for culinary delights. Because great things are on offer here. The hotel restaurant LE STUBEN consists of five individually furnished parlors in Tyrolean style with wood paneling but also with a touch of alpine-modern style: In the Zirmstube, Bergsteigerstube, Weiße Stube, Schlosserstube and Parkstube, hotel guests are spoiled to the max. The LA MONT restaurant serves delicacies at lunchtime and in summer delicious grilled dishes are served on the terrace in the ALPENGRILLROYAL. The real highlight, however, is the gourmet restaurant ALPENROYAL GOURMET RESTAURANT under the direction of head chef Mario Porcelli, which is listed in the Michelin Guide with 1 Michelin star. Gault& Millau awarded the restaurant 4 toques (17 points). The chef's philosophy: "From the fruits of the great wide oceans, the spices and plants of the Alps, the Mediterranean world to that of India, sweet sins and tender fillets, the Alpenroyal gourmet restaurant creates the most refined delicacies for the palate and soul."
Water world
The Alpenroyal Spa offers heated indoor and outdoor pools for soothing moments. The "Kurat" bathing lake, the largest hotel lake in the Alps, is a refreshing option in the warmer months. The newly built wellness area in the Alpenroyal is a counterpoint to the traditional main building. It is unique in its modern yet simple architecture: flooded with light and with a wonderful view of the Sella massif. The Alpenroyal wellness area is one of the largest in Italy. It includes a spacious sauna area and a well-equipped fitness world.
