Hotel Familiamus
Susi and Peter Nestl have always cherished the dream of a unique family hotel. For 15 years, they searched for the perfect place for their feel-good resort in the heart of nature. They found what they were looking for in Meransen in the Gitschberg Jochtal ski and mountain pasture region.
In December 2022, the Family Aktiv- & Wellnesshotel Familiamus finally opened its doors as a place for families in all its colors, shapes and facets. The first 5-star hotel and also the first all-inclusive hotel in the region is dedicated to vacations for all generations.
The 55 km of pistes in the Gitschberg Jochtal ski area start right outside the door at 1,400 meters. From here, children can set off directly with a ski instructor, while adults can enjoy carefree fun on the slopes. In addition, snowshoe hikes, ski tours, tracking and tracing in the snow and much more make for precious memories.
In the hotel itself, 1,000 m² of indoor play space with a magic lab, gym, studio, wood workshop and climbing wall is a Fadess-free zone. There is also a teens' room for chilling out, cooking courses, an outdoor playground and an animal world where you can learn how to handle horses. Not forgetting the spacious water and wellness world for the whole family.
The rooms feature extra-wide cuddly beds, walk-in closets, bathrooms with family washbasins and children's bathtubs, large balconies and plenty of space to relax.
Inspired by the tranquillity of the South Tyrolean peaks and the lush meadows all around, chef Stefan and his team conjure up culinary delights for even the most discerning of children's palates as part of the gourmet full board.
