Family Hotel Huber
Time for me... time for you... time for us: this is the motto of the multi-award-winning family hotel Huber in Vals.
Simon and his wife Brigitte and Simon's parents Edith and Franz are the sixth generation to run the hotel. Located in the middle of the picturesque village of Vals and surrounded by the impressive South Tyrolean mountains, the focus here is on children. Ideal for families who want to immerse themselves in a world of adventure with their children. One of the highlights: The ultra-cool, illuminated 45 m long giant tube slide, which is open all year round, with entry and exit in the warm interior, makes children's hearts beat faster. The little ones play in the paddling pool with fun splash animals, while the older ones can dive into the indoor pool, which is heated all year round, as well as the infinity pool (120 m²), which is connected to the outside. And the whole family can enjoy the fantastic view. Further highlights await adventurers young and old, around one kilometer from the hotel. A farm, home to ponies, alpacas, goats, sheep, quails, rabbits and chickens, not only allows visitors to stroke the "residents", but also learn a thing or two about life in the countryside. The adventure park provides creative games. And if the weather doesn't suit, there's certainly no time for boredom in the indoor playground.
In close collaboration with hotelier Simon Stolz and his family, architect Stefan Gamper from Klausen has implemented the expansion and redesign of some functional areas with a contemporary yet timeless interior design, using natural materials such as local wood and natural stone. Particular emphasis was placed on a high level of comfort and coziness in the interiors, in harmony with the typical South Tyrolean coziness that is highly appreciated by guests. The dining room was given a spacious, light-flooded extension with infinity glazing that integrates traditional wooden lattice windows. The furnishings include a corner bench combination with high backrests around the dining table to create cozy and intimate dining spaces. At the same time, the high bench backrests provide an uninterrupted view of the magnificent landscape. The regional organic cuisine leaves nothing to be desired: All-inclusive, guests are pampered here from morning to night.
