Developed from a concept by interior designer Francesca Dalla Vecchia, the 4-star hotel is characterized by an elegant and minimalist style, skillfully reflecting the lifestyle of South Tyrol. From the designer lamps that spread a warm light in the lobby to the objects in the interiors, every detail has been carefully selected. Natural materials, light-colored solid wood and fine fabrics turn living spaces into true living spaces. The large rooms can be combined to provide ample space for families with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Some of them also have air conditioning. Particularly exclusive: the Design Room Lux and the King Royal Design Suite with maximum comfort and a wonderful view of the forest.
Chef Maurizio Lauriola comes from Apulia and brings Mediterranean flavors to the Puster Valley. With great care, he combines the delicacies of South Tyrolean cuisine with what we love so much about Cucina Italiana! Show cooking in the extended restaurant area provides deep insights into kitchen secrets. A tip for gourmets in the region: the gourmet restaurant with terrace at the Bonfanti Hotel is also open to connoisseurs who are not staying at the hotel. The hotel's managing director, Jan Vlasak, is a sommelier and personally stocks the hotel's exquisite wine cellar with over 100 different fine wines, from Lagrein to Sassicaia and from Gewürztraminer to Gaja Rossj Bass Langhe DOC Chardonnay. Wine tastings are an integral part of the culinary pampering program at the Bonfanti Design Hotel. An exclusive bistro with selected delicacies opened in 2020 provides even more enjoyment at the hotel. The day is rounded off with a visit to the new lounge bar by the open fireplace.
The spa area of the Bonfanti Design Hotel also offers wonderful moments of pampering: the new wellness center, which was built in 2020, is now divided into three new areas, beauty cabins and an indoor wellness area. Highlights include the 1000 m2 water world with heated indoor pool (110 m2) and the 250 m2 outdoor pool with a temperature of 28° C in summer and 32° C in winter as well as two indoor and outdoor whirlpools at 35 °C. After a visit to the bio or hay sauna or the 90° C outdoor cabin sauna, the steam bath and the infrared sauna, you can relax in front of a cozy open fire. If you want to do yourself even more good, try the regenerating Kneipp course, where fresh water baths alternate with hot baths to stimulate blood circulation and promote detoxification. Another highlight in the wellness retreat is the magic snow room with a winter climate to reactivate circulation and tissue.
