Les Sources des Alpes Hôtel & Spa
An ancient spa, which the Romans already knew how to use, combined with a modern lifestyle: anti-aging, fitness and a gastro-light menu complement an ancient thermal spring in a highly relaxing way.
The drop in the ocean
Even the Romans knew it: pure health can be found in Leukerbad. The hot springs were already a popular bathing destination back then - their water springs from the mountains at 3,000 meters above sea level, spends up to 40 years in the mountain, draws healing power from there and returns to the surface all over the village. At Hôtel Les Sources des Alpes - the highest thermal center in Europe - this healing spring water is refined to perfection and achieves almost contemplative qualities in the outdoor and indoor pools as soon as the water temperature and body temperature are in sync - weightless bliss in the midst of breathtaking mountain scenery. Take time for yourself. Whatever your daily program is, enjoy the moment!
From the source
It is everywhere, the mighty mountain, the source of the bubbling joy of life: in the Mediterranean-inspired restaurant La Malvoisie, it takes up a piece of wall, in the wine cellar of the Hôtel Les Sources des Alpes it surrounds regional and international Grand Crus. The Superior South room also offers a view of the majestic Daubenhorn, which, as part of the Bernese Alps, drops steeply down to Leukerbad and forms a huge, protective basin. Awe-inspiring, yes. But also wild, beautiful and incredibly romantic! And the evening is best rounded off in "La Barrique". Even Alexandre Dumas, Léon Tolstoï and Charlie Chaplin enjoyed a glass of wine by the cozy open fire here.
