Hotel Schweizerhof Zurich
The Hotel Schweizerhof Zurich has been delighting guests from all over the world for over 140 years. Located directly opposite the main railway station and not far from the world-famous Bahnhofstrasse, the listed grand hotel offers the ideal starting point for visits to the city on the Limmat.
Since 2014, the 5-star hotel has been renovated floor by floor and an innovative premium hybrid concept has been implemented: The Dufour Suites & Rooms. Here, guests have the opportunity to benefit from a 5-star service in one of the 22 Dufour Suites & Rooms. Instead of the original 108, 98 luxurious rooms and suites remained, creating more space for well-being. Bright, fresh colors and maximum comfort ensure a sense of well-being, while the bathrooms are made of Italian granite and feature large wall mirrors.
The claim "The summit of luxury", based on the highest peak in Switzerland, reflects the luxury and high level of service offered by the new Dufour Suites& Rooms. These include a 24-hour city ticket for public transport, champagne breakfast and butler service.
In an area of over 200 m², new soundproof meeting rooms for up to 60 participants complement the MICE offering, which previously consisted of four salons that could be combined in different ways. Modern interiors and sophisticated technology are a skillful contrast to the Belle Epoque style of the hotel.
In the restaurant La Soupière you can enjoy regional and French specialties, in the Café Gourmet you will find an authentic French bistro atmosphere. The bar offers selected wines and a variety of whiskies and gins. The small and fine boutique gym with its modern interior is located on the second floor. Hotel guests also have free access to the nearby Holmes Place Premium Fitness Club.
