Schweizerhof Flims Romantic Hotel
Now that the Romantikhotel has opened a new bathhouse, the four-star Hotel Schweizerhof Flims is one of the leading yoga and wellness retreats in Switzerland.
Built in 1903, the 4-star hotel combines Fin de Siècle, Belle Epoque and Art Nouveau to create a romantic crescendo. Even Albert Einstein, Empress Zita and Marie Curie used the hotel for their summer retreats. In summer, natural spectacles such as the impressive UNESCO World Heritage Site Tectonic Arena Sardona await, in winter 235 kilometers of slopes and wonderful winter hiking trails inspire - and at any time of year, the promise of a dream wedding come true beckons. It is no coincidence that the Schweizerhof Flims has had a special bathhouse since the winter of 2022/2023, as people got used to the benefits of healthy swimming in the first small bathing hut on Lake Cauma back in 1880.
Small is different: on 750 square meters, guests can expect a holistic mountain and forest spa over three floors with a natural stone pool, sauna, steam bath, water world, massage, meditation and yoga offers and a wonderful forest room. "Ich komme mit in die Sauna" means in Grisons German: "I kuuma mit ind Schwitzstuba". "Kuuma" in turn means "hot" in Finnish. It's a funny coincidence; no more, no less. However, it is no coincidence that the Finnish sauna is heated to 90 degrees and offers a fantastic view of the Flimserstein. It is also no coincidence that the modern bathhouse also has an organic Swiss stone pine sauna, a steam bath and an infrared sauna in addition to the Finnish sauna. The spruce was considered a protective and mother tree by the Germanic tribes. For the Romans, spruce was a symbol of hope, and here spruce lovingly envelops all the massage and coaching rooms and, together with the ecological flooring made from natural minerals and plant oils, ensures an energetic and fantastic indoor climate. A 7 x 15 meter natural stone pool completes the offer. The highlight is the 108 square meter forest room: whether for a yoga or mindfulness retreat, a cocoa ceremony, a training seminar or a group event: the made of energetic spruce wood and with a huge sliding window front into the greenery is a delight.

Then get married in the modern gondola lift on the way from Laax to Crap Sogn Gion at an altitude of 2228 meters: accompanied by a fantastic view, you can ride into the sunset and make an unforgettable bond for life at lofty heights. Aperitifs, dinner and other festivities can be organized on the mountain or back in the valley on request. Since 2017, registered partnerships and civil weddings have also been possible at the Schweizerhof Flims, performed by a registrar from the Imboden district.

NEW: every day there is a vitality dish to choose from - as regional, seasonal and sustainable as possible, mostly vegetarian, always wholesome and full of fresh vegetables.
