The 4-star hotel borders the pedestrian zone of the cultural city of Lucerne and is just a few hundred meters from the historic Chapel Bridge. The hotel has been looking after guests for 500 years - once as a pub, later as a tavern. First run as a hotel in 1860, the wild man has since then consisted of seven historic townhouses, which have lost none of their nostalgic and historic charm and bear witness to the eventful history of the hotel - which you can literally feel when you walk through the winding corridors or when it creaks under your feet and in the beams.
The Romantik Hotel Wilden Mann offers its guests 48 spacious rooms and exclusive suites, all individually designed with great attention to detail. Equipped with all contemporary amenities, the rooms delight with antique furniture, exposed ceiling beams or artistic chandeliers. Above all, the individual color design of each room radiates a sense of coziness - it is said to have an enchanting effect on guests. No two rooms are the same here.
Depending on the season, arrangements are offered for couples in love, where a visit to a play can be combined with a romantic candlelight dinner. Awarded 14 points by Gault-Millau, the Sauvage restaurant serves classic French and Mediterranean cuisine, and in summer you can also dine on the quiet terrace in the middle of the old town. The Burgerstube not only impresses with its neo-Gothic style, but also with regional cuisine and its own creations. Our tip: the beef Stroganoff fillet prepared at the table or the delicious Lucerne Kügeli pâté.
