Kulm Hotel St. Moritz

3rd place: Beautiful living: The Kulm Hotel St. Moritz has 150 rooms and suites in various sizes. Four years in a row, the hotel was renovated and refurbished at a cost of 30 million each time. Almost 110 rooms were redesigned by French star architect Pierre-Yves Rochon, while the remaining 40 rooms also underwent a soft renovation.

Charming accessories, maximum comfort and state-of-the-art technology can be found in all rooms. The various rooms inspire with natural Swiss stone pine, local granite stone and noble marble in the bathrooms. The sumptuous suites and luxury suites have one or two bedrooms with a separate lounge and dining table, some with their own fireplace and enchanting views of the lake. The absolute highlight is the Corvatsch Suite - at 176 square meters, truly the most exquisite four walls in St. Moritz.

Exquisite indulgence

The Kulm Hotel has long cultivated the tradition of a varied culinary experience. The repertoire ranges from carefully prepared local Engadine specialties to international haute cuisine. Up to seven hotel restaurants offer the perfect treat for every taste.
From this winter, there will be a breath of fresh air in three of the hotel's restaurants: chef Mauro Colagreco, who has been awarded three Michelin stars and 18 points by Gault-Millau, will take over the Kulm Country Club from December 2023 and bring a new concept to the restaurant, which was completely renovated by Lord Foster in 2017. High-quality mountain terroir dishes prepared over the fire, served and enjoyed to the sounds of sound designer Arman Naféei.

The Sunny Bar & Grill, the oldest sports bar in the Alps, fascinates in the winter months with chef Tom Booton from London. The celebrated London chef presents a new, modern brasserie-style menu.
In the Amaru restaurant you will experience the unexpected in the heart of the Alps - relaxed exciting creations of Peruvian cuisine from ceviche and quinoa to authentic Peruvian street food with a constantly changing menu. The restaurant has been completely redesigned by designer Luke Edward Hall. From this winter, it will also be open for lunch on Fridays and Saturdays.

Delicious variety and plenty of Italianità await you in the Pizzeria restaurant. The bobsleigh restaurant, a 10-minute walk from the hotel, is located in the starting house of the St. Moritz-Celerina Olympic Bob Run and offers light, rustic dishes in a sporty atmosphere at lunchtime. The Chesa al Parc combines sporting elegance with rustic charm. Here you can enjoy Swiss and international delicacies in the cozy Engadine parlors or on the spacious sun terrace, which skilfully bridges the gap between historical decor and modern ambience. - One tip is the legendary Fondue Chinoise.

Inner Balance

You can easily find it in the 2000 m² spa at the Kulm Hotel St. Moritz. A large swimming pool with underwater music, whirlpool, steam bath and brine grotto, Kneipp footpath and various saunas as well as a heated outdoor pool are at your free disposal - including an impressive view through the panoramic windows. The offer is rounded off by a variety of massages and body treatments. The exclusive Private Spa Suite promises intimate hours with plenty of privacy: here you can enjoy togetherness and indulge in luxurious pampering. Private bio-sauna, sauna and steam bath as well as bubble bath for two or simply enjoy the view of the magnificent mountain panorama from the waterbed.
In summer, guests can enjoy beautiful mountain hikes and lake activities, a 9-hole golf course and three tennis courts, while in winter the hotel's own natural ice rink with field hockey goals, ice skate rental and curling field round off the offer.
