As soon as you drive through the Simmental to the Golfhotel Les Hauts de Gstaad & SPA, you leave everyday life behind you. From the very first moment, guests at the chalet hotel at 1,279 meters above sea level feel the warm and familiar hospitality. Hotel guests can enjoy Swiss specialties and fine, varied cuisine. The elegant "Belle Epoque" restaurant is stylishly furnished, and guests can enjoy a wonderful view of the mountain panorama from the Möserstube. The large panoramic terrace enjoys plenty of sunshine all year round and also offers a magnificent view. The rustic "Bärengraben" is an insider tip in the Saanenland. Here, guests dine amidst 100-year-old murals with unique bear stories that tell of tourism in the old days. In the cosy Chalet Le Gessenay in the hotel garden, guests can sample typical Swiss fondue and raclette specialties.
The heart of the hotel is the cozy fireplace bar and lobby with its spectacular fireplace. When they settle down here, guests really don't find it difficult to feel at home from the very first moment. For after-dinner enjoyment, the stylish fumoir with library is very welcome. From all 57 rooms and suites, most with balconies, guests have a wonderful view of the mountains. The newly renovated rooms and suites are furnished with lots of natural wood and are appropriately Alpine chic.
The wellness center offers something for every guest: various saunas, a swimming pool, a fitness room with strength equipment and ten treatment cabins where skilled hands pamper you with massages and many other treatments. The sauna park with Finnish sauna, hay sauna, flower and herbal sauna, steam bath, ice fountain, Kneipp zone and fireplace lounge was newly built in spring 2019. Depending on their preferences, guests can enjoy the textile sauna, which is located on the same level as the indoor pool and is separated from the rest of the sauna area. The relaxation room in the 1,000 m2 wellness area is spacious and elegant.
The traditional Saanen silhouette patterns and ornaments, which are typical of the region, are a recurring design element throughout the hotel, from the fireplace bar to the wellness area and the walls of the showers. The four-star superior hotel is located directly at the GoldenPass train station in Saanenmöser, just 15 minutes from Gstaad.
