2nd place: It is the most exclusive venue in Lucerne: With its location on the shores of Lake Lucerne and magnificent views of the Swiss Alps, the iconic 1906 Belle Époque landmark shines. After five years of renovation, the former Palace was reopened as the Mandarin Oriental Palace, Lucerne in 2022.
Varied cuisine
The Mandarin Oriental Palace, Lucerne offers a wide range of culinary experiences. In the Colonnade restaurant, which is rated with two Michelin stars, chef Gilad Peled and his team create modern French cuisine with a focus on local seasonal highlights. Traditional Japanese omakase cuisine awaits guests at Yutaka Kobayashi's Minamo (1 Michelin star), a refined gem with 8 seats. MOzern is Lucerne's all-day address for locals and visitors. Quai 10 is home to outstanding Mediterranean cuisine and exudes the charm of the 1920s in a fantastic outdoor setting with a view of the lake.
Relaxing hours can be spent in the spa with sauna and steam bath and with soothing treatments. There is also a fitness center for those who want to work out.
