Situated in a privileged lakeside location at the foot of the famous Mount Rigi, the listed boutique hotel delights with its very own, enchanting flair: the architectural masterpiece in floral Art Nouveau style sets enchanting accents and pampers guests with plenty of charm and incomparable comfort, while the stylish rooms and suites will be completely renovated for the 2025 summer season.
Built back in 1901, the Hotel Vitznauerhof already offered its prominent guests, such as Hermann Hesse and Richard Strauss, a luxurious ambience and stylish relaxation at the highest level. Today, the hotel shines in new splendor: renovated rooms and suites in a simple, clear design cleverly combined with historical elements such as the old stucco ceiling in the Festivités hall, the ceiling paintings in the entrance area and the leaded, antique Art Nouveau windows. Tradition and modernity form a perfect symbiosis here.
The Hotel Vitznauerhof makes a surprising appearance: while the façade has been lavishly renovated in the Art Nouveau style, the interior of the hotel is characterized by a minimalist design. The 53 modern and light-flooded rooms and suites impress with open room structures, clear lines and an elegant color scheme - the monochrome black and white contrasts accentuate the light pastel tones and delight connoisseurs across the board. All rooms offer maximum comfort and a peaceful atmosphere for rest and relaxation. The highlight is the fantastic view of Lake Lucerne and the Alpine panorama - sometimes fairy tales come true. The spa with its minimalist design is also a sight in itself and features a sauna, steam bath, experience shower, relaxation room and outdoor whirlpool.

In the Inspiration restaurant, regionality is lived and seasonal dishes are served.
From May to the end of September, SENS is transformed into a culinary pop-up on Lake Lucerne, where award-winning guest chefs showcase their creative signature dishes. A new menu is created every few weeks - an interplay of bold flavors, artistic presentations and haute cuisine in a relaxed lakeside setting.
