The Alpina Gstaad
3rd place: It doesn't get any better than this: Alpine chic meets Gault&Millau in a luxury hotel that likes to reach for the stars and has been honored with numerous awards.
France meets Japan
Alpine elegance, distilled into the epitome of luxury at the Sommet restaurant: What ends up on the plate here bears the seal of quality of Executive Chef Martin Göschel. The love of Asia is palpable in the Megu restaurant: the Japanese restaurant is already the darling of the Gstaad scene. Sushi, sashimi and sake take guests on a culinary journey of discovery and, in combination with the Asian-inspired design, form a harmonious overall concept. The rustic wood carvings in the Swiss Stübli create the perfect ambience for enjoying fondue and raclette. The evening ends with classic cocktails in the Alpina Lounge & Bar.
All 6 senses
The Six Senses Spa Gstaad is also inspired by the Far East and offers head massages, shiatsu and even chakra balancing to specifically balance energies. The spa also includes a hammam, a salt grotto, an indoor pool, whirlpools, an outdoor pool and a yoga room. A juice bar with a vertical garden also tantalizes the palate - organic juices and herbal teas do the body additional good;
Sight-Sleeping
A new definition of luxury can also be found in the rooms and suites: This is where Swiss chic meets down-to-earth craftsmanship. The overall result is sustainably luxurious, yet authentic, original and at the same time contemporary and in all cases extremely cozy. The suites, measuring up to 400 square meters, are a prime example of Swissness: stone fireplaces and original wood panelling are the companions to a dreamy night's sleep.
