Hotel Eden Spiez
Back to the roots: the history of the former Hotel Kurhaus Eden, which sits slightly elevated above Lake Thun in the middle of a park in the village of Spiez, began as a magnificent Belle Epoque building. At the end of 2017, the 'Eden Spa' extension took up the roots of the past - the Kurhaus became a wellness hotel. --
Rooms as oases of well-being
The 45 rooms, including three junior suites with their own balcony, lake or mountain view, have been designed with wooden floors, light, airy colors, partly open bathrooms and four-poster beds, with a playful, romantic, Mediterranean or colonial ambience depending on the floor, so that they form a small, fine feel-good area in themselves.
Mediterranean lightness
But you'll be happy to leave it to enjoy a coffee or drink on the lakeside terrace with a dream view of the Bernese Alps, to enjoy Alpine cuisine with a dash of Mediterranean lightness in the Belle Epoque restaurant or to meet informally in the bistro bar for a light lunch, coffee and cake or a drink with piano music. Even in wind and snow, you feel wonderfully sheltered in the conservatory with its view of the Alps, and the Smokers Lounge and the library are places of retreat that are particularly appreciated when you want to escape from everyday life in the big city to find peace and seclusion as well as the greatest sense of well-being.
