The Bürgenstock Resort Lake Lucerne is a destination where gourmets and culinary enthusiasts get their money's worth. Corporate Culinary Director Mike Wehrle has established the Seven Kitchens concept - including a cookbook, cooking courses and gastronomic showcases. The cuisine from around the world includes pan-Asian specialties, Persian delicacies, French brasserie classics, temptations from the wood-fired grill and traditional Swiss and Italian dishes.
Every restaurant is breathtaking. Awarded 16 Gault Millau points, Spices Kitchen & Terrace is housed in a glass cube that juts out spectacularly from the side of the mountain. With an open show kitchen and authentic dishes from China, Japan, Thailand and India, it is a real gem for lovers of the exotic and modern. Parisa - Persian Cuisine sits on the edge of the cliff with views that reach 500 meters into the depths.
In the charming Taverne restaurant, guests can enjoy Swiss classics made from regional ingredients, while the Verbena Restaurant, located in the Waldhotel by Bürgenstock, impresses with a sun-drenched terrace and views of the green valley and surrounding mountain landscape.
The Osteria Alpina, where Audrey Hepburn was a regular guest, towers over the hilly golf course. Aromatic meat and freshly caught fish are served under the massive oak beams in the Oak Grill & Pool Patio, located by the spectacular Hollywood Pool, which is part of a glamorous scene in the James Bond film Goldfinger.
