Rock and Toll: The Flims rockslide was the inspiration for the extraordinary cubic design hotel made from regional materials. It's no wonder that the award-winning hostel is a hit with guests of all ages.
Located directly at the Laax-Murschetg valley station, the cuboids with their 121 exclusive apartments (two additional houses will open in winter) are grouped around a central square like randomly distributed objects. Architect Günther Domenig drew inspiration for this innovative design concept from the Flims landslide, which formed the area of today's Flims-Laax-Falera destination around 10,000 years ago.
The living spaces are characterized by clear shapes and elegant, natural materials. Oak wood or textiles in natural tones set accents and create a warm, inviting atmosphere. The mini spa in the bathroom features a steam bath and a rainforest shower. A fully equipped kitchen rounds off the interior. Small groups are accommodated in the 55 m² 4-bed apartment with two bedrooms and a maximum of five beds. Medium-sized groups will find space in the 89 m² 6-bed apartment with three bedrooms, a maximum of six beds and two separate bathrooms. The 8-bed apartment is ideal for larger groups, offering four bedrooms with a maximum of ten beds and two bathrooms over 120 m². With the comfortable 26 m² double room, the multi-award-winning rocksresort also has the right offer for romantic couples' vacations.
