In April 2019, the Relais Castello di Morcote opened its doors in the venerable walls of a former 17th century monastery. The renovation of this historic building bears witness to great professionalism, discreet finesse and great attention to detail. Today, with just 12 stylishly arranged rooms, the house exudes the charming ambience of a private villa that takes its guests on a very special kind of journey. Situated in the middle of the enchanting Lugano countryside on a strip of land surrounded by lake, you are always enchanted by the natural wealth and historical heritage of the surrounding area. The beautifully preserved town centers of the villages of Morcote, Vico Morcote and Carona are just a stone's throw away from the Relais.

Stories of a rich tradition, of a great sense of style and a contemporary feel for aesthetics. Nothing is old here, only a lot is historical. When it comes to interior design, you are also in state-of-the-art territory: the 12 individual rooms of the hotel captivate with an urban touch in front of original walls, fine natural materials and a kind of play of light that sets the scene for everything in just the right way.
