The Hotel Matterhorn Focus is known for its mix of tradition and modernity. The 30 charming and comfortable suites, double rooms and family rooms, which are divided into three buildings, are also designed in this style. All areas of the 4-star superior hotel are characterized by the artistic signature of Heinz Julen - high rooms, exposed wooden beams and the unusual room layout give the spacious rooms their unmistakable touch. Almost all rooms have a balcony and offer either a view of the majestic Matterhorn or the town of Zermatt. The individual interior with its specially designed sofas, lamps or beds sets stylish accents and immerses the light-flooded rooms in an atmospheric ambience in which you instantly feel carefree and free. Guests start the day with a balanced, indulgent breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired. Afternoon tea or an aperitif can be enjoyed in the cozy lounge in front of a crackling fireplace. As the design hotel does not have its own restaurant, guests can stroll into town for dinner and discover Zermatt's bustling gastronomy.
The highlight of the new two-room suite with a total of 75 m2 is the private wellness area with an outdoor jacuzzi and views of the Matterhorn. The SPA suite also has its own Sanarium® and a bathroom with rain shower and free-standing bathtub. In addition to the living room with sofa bed, sitting area and separate bedroom, there is also a large terrace with a view of the Zermatt mountains.
