The view is impressive: From the Matterhorn to Mont Blanc. In the ski resort of Crans-Montana, the former mountain station of the mythical Chetzeron cable car has been converted into a unique hotel. An intense feeling for the gigantic mountains immediately sets in: Depending on the time of year, you are chauffeured from Crans-Montana to the hotel in a snow groomer or an off-road vehicle. By the way, you can also walk. The exposed location in the countryside requires careful handling, which is why great importance was attached to sustainability: Minergie label for the building insulation, 50 square meters of solar panels for hot water production, 200 square meters of solar panels for electricity generation, heating with pellets, recovery of heat from the cooling system - that's how sustainability works!
At Chetzeron, each guest retreat is inspired by a specific mountain and is named after a peak - from the legendary Mont Blanc to the snow-capped Matterhorn. The colors and decoration of the rooms reflect simple understatement. Every single piece of furniture has been specially designed for the hotel. Large glass windows and comfortable window seats invite you to let your gaze wander over the mountains and the surrounding nature. The highlight of the rooms is undoubtedly the junior suites - here guests are invited into a new dimension of living: A bedroom, cozy sitting area that can be separated with a curtain and Edelweiss-based care products beckon in an area of 50 square meters. Here you feel like you are in the middle of a mountain panorama: the view of the Crans-Montana plateau and the southern Alps, whose peaks are bathed in bright red at sunset, is simply breathtaking.
Crans-Montana is a wonderland for sports enthusiasts - you can indulge in countless activities in both winter and summer. Those in need of some relaxation afterwards will be happy at the Chetzeron 2112 SA spa: the swimming pool on the roof of the hotel attracts guests with a breathtaking panoramic view and is heated to 32°C all year round. After a day on the slopes or on the hiking trail, we recommend the steam bath: it relaxes your muscles and prevents sore muscles - your bronchial tubes will also love the hot steam! The dry heat of the infrared sauna penetrates deep into the skin and is perceived as much softer than in a traditional sauna. The sauna session can last longer without feeling any discomfort.
