Resort La Ginabelle Zermatt
The 4-star superior resort La Ginabelle is located at the foot of the Matterhorn in Zermatt. The Abgottspon-Schell family has been running the resort with 66 rooms, junior suites and apartments since 1991, and the newly built Altiana Residence has also been part of the resort since 2020.
Zermatt is the most famous mountain village with the most photographed mountain in the world, the Matterhorn. The Resort La Ginabelle, one of the best four-star superior family hotels in Switzerland, is located on the river promenade, a five-minute walk from the train station. "The well-being of all our guests, young and old, is a matter close to our hearts and we therefore maintain a very personal relationship with our guests," emphasizes Thomas Abgottspon, who founded the hotel together with his wife Regina more than thirty years ago. The 66 rooms, junior suites and apartments at Resort La Ginabelle are spread across two interconnected buildings and the Altiana residence, which was built in summer 2020. The south-facing rooms, apartments and junior suites offer a unique view of the Matterhorn.
The heart of the Resort La Ginabelle is the GinaSPA, which covers over 1,000 square meters and extends over three floors. Steam bath, infrared sauna, herbal grotto, brine steam bath and Finnish sauna invite you to linger and enjoy endlessly. In addition, there are three different indoor and outdoor pools (34-36°C), including an infinity pool, as well as two merging wellness areas with separate adult areas. Families and couples traveling alone feel equally at home here. Speaking of families: there are special offers for children and teenagers in the Dress-on-Family-SPA. Murmeli, the fun-loving marmot, is the friendly mascot that also gives the children's and youth club its name. Children aged 2½ to 12 are invited to play and have fun here. The Murmeliclub is spacious, flooded with light and equipped with toys for younger and older children. The supervisors create a warm atmosphere and the daily changing program makes children's eyes light up. A babysitter can be organized at reception for children under the age of 2½.

With many years of experience in Michelin-starred cuisine, the La Ginabelle kitchen team creates almost everything itself: from the home-baked cakes to the vinaigrette for the multi-course menu. The resort's bar and fireside lounge are located between the two buildings of Hotel La Ginabelle and are equally accessible to all resort guests, promising cozy hours.
