Badrutt's Palace
2nd place: Magnificent panorama as far as the eye can see: The traditional hotel with its prominent guest list offers a dignified setting for a dream vacation with a view.
In the winter season, the hotel will open the largest room extension in its 129-year history, designed by ACPV Architects: 25 top rooms and suites, four new high-end stores, a new underground car park, a new ski store and - as the only hotel in St. Moritz - underground access to the village square will round off the new guest experience.
Holiday with star potential
Personalities from politics and business, crowned heads or celebrities from the worlds of art and music: at THE posh address in the ski resort of St. Moritz, everyone who is anyone seems to have been spotted at least once - Princess Caroline of Monaco, singer Tina Turner and British director Alfred Hitchcock are just some of the famous names. The halls of Badrutt's Palace Hotel are just as glamorous as the guest list, and also provide the ideal setting for a tailor-made fairytale wedding: From the historic library to the magnificent ballroom, you can celebrate in style here.
Dining in gourmet heaven
The cuisine at Badrutt's Palace Hotel is also quite top-class - not only in terms of quality, but also in terms of quantity, a true gourmet heaven in starry splendor: with eleven Palace restaurants in the winter season - more than any other Swiss hotel at present, three bars, the King's Social House, where you can party until the early hours of the morning, and the Mountain Club and Restaurant Paradiso, which is located directly in the ski area, there is guaranteed to be something for every taste. There are also temporary restaurant concepts with top international chefs during the winter months. Great etiquette including men in uniform and dress code can be found at Le Restaurant, British dining & dancing at King's Social House, Japanese-Peruvian delicacies at their finest at Nobu Matsuhisa's only Swiss restaurant, La Coupole - Matsuhisa.
The oldest farmhouse in St. Moritz will be connected underground by a tunnel from the 2024/25 winter season. Four restaurants await guests here, including the legendary Pizzeria Heuboden and, new since winter 2023, the smallest restaurant in St. Moritz with just three tables, the Carigiet Fondue Stübli. And that's not all. The new part of the building designed by ACPV Architects will open in the 2024/25 winter season. 25 rooms and suites will provide quite luxury style with the finest materials from Loro Piana on the walls and a variety of regional building materials throughout the hotel.
