THE TEGERNSEE
Quiet luxury at the highest level: Characterized by elegance and a deep connection with the region, DAS TEGERNSEE is a powerhouse of inspiration and enjoyment.
Five times luxury
In the midst of Bavaria's magnificent natural scenery, DAS TEGERNSEE combines five living worlds into a unique ensemble. Each house bears its own signature and tells the stories of the valley. While copper meets mosaic tiles and woven carpet meets traditional shapes in the Quirin Hostel, the Tegernsee House brings the silhouettes of the Tegernsee Valley into the rooms with clear lines, fresh colors and sensual materials. The surrounding nature was also the inspiration for the rooms and suites at Haus Wallberg, which were completely redesigned in 2020. The highlight of the elegant lake view rooms is the bed, which opens up a view of Lake Tegernsee as soon as you wake up. The mountain view rooms pick up on the forest theme with shades of green and entice guests with cozy favorite spots thanks to their sophisticated interiors. In the Alpine chalets, upscale tradition and contemporary design combine to form a timeless whole. Noble parquet floors, fine stucco work, brass and gold, rich color combinations and selected design elements - the suites in the Sengerschloss allow guests to immerse themselves in a luxury living space come true.
Dive in
Arrive, switch off and feel at ease: On over 2,400 m², the hotel invites its guests to relax in harmony with nature. Water lovers can enjoy the indoor pool and outdoor pool. The Finnish sauna, steam bath, forest sauna and organic aroma sauna exude cozy warmth - the highlight is the panorama sauna with a view over the Tegernsee valley. After a sauna session, the relaxation room, fireplace lounge or the two sun decks with views of the Alps are recommended. The Precor fitness lounge, massages and beauty treatments make the wellness day perfect.
Enjoyment with a view
Seasonal, regional and Mediterranean-inspired - DAS TEGERNSEE is a place of culinary seduction. A glow emanates from the Senger restaurant: While strong ochre and brown color accents form the backdrop for enjoyment in the upper section, delicate beige and pink characterize the lower area, which merges into a large sun terrace towards the lake. Accompanied by top international wines, you can experience the finest cuisine from kitchen director Norman Fischer. The alpine counterpart to the gourmet restaurant is the Alpenbrasserie - a lifestyle restaurant with wine bar, fireplace lounge and castle bar - which presents nature almost as if on a stage thanks to its panoramic windows.
And for those who are drawn to the surrounding area: Guests will find two 18-hole golf courses, a six-hole short course and a driving range. The Sutten-Spitzingsee ski area is a 15-minute drive away, and there are plenty of water sports on offer at Lake Tegernsee itself.
