SCHUMANN, HOTEL RESTAURANTS & SPA TEMPLE
Welcome to an extraordinary refuge of relaxation. The family-run luxury resort BEI SCHUMANN is enthroned at its own SEEWUNDERBAR near Bautzen in the Oberlausitzer Bergland.
6000 square meters of SPA world
The heart of the charming hotel is the unique Roman SPA-TEMPLE, whose luxurious furnishings are reminiscent of a Roman bathing establishment. Both the indoor and outdoor pools are spacious, the sauna area offers a wide range of steam rooms and sweat baths with different focuses and the ice fountain cools you down. There is a lot of love for zodiac signs here, which is why there is a "water altar" with Kirschau rock crystal water for each zodiac sign. After a massage in one of 13 treatment rooms, you can relax in Bedouin tents. The spa suites are also worth mentioning, where you can indulge in a couple's massage. In summer, you can experience your treatment in tents in the PORTICUS GARDEN.
Another highlight is Germany's first flying pool, which is the highlight of the new SEEFLÜGEL building. The 12 x 5 meter flying pool with a view into the trees is heated to a pleasant 28 degrees Celsius all year round. In addition to the pool, three different saunas - panorama, Finnish and infrared - are available to guests in the 1,300 square meter Spa 2.0. On the private sun deck, a Kneipp pool and the snow sauna, which can also be used in summer, offer the opportunity to cool off.
Exceptional culinary
The range of exquisite culinary delights on offer at the Hotel BEI SCHUMANN is remarkable. These include the gourmet restaurant JUWEL, which has been awarded 1 MICHELIN star. Chef Tobias Heldt has been at the helm of the award-winning JUWEL gourmet restaurant since August 2023. His team attaches great importance to the highest quality and the very best regional products in order to offer discerning guests inspiring culinary experiences. He is supported by Jens Pietzonka, the F&B Manager, who, as an award-winning sommelier and newly crowned "Wine Ambassador of the Year 2024", not only impresses with in-depth specialist knowledge, but also shines with impressive expertise in gastronomy.
Chic elegance
What else would you like to know about the Hotel BEI SCHUMANN? What the rooms and suites look like? Of course - all very individual, with great attention to detail. For example, there is a piano in the VIP suite, the WEBER suites are dominated by fine fabrics, some of the TEMPLE suites have a fireplace for cozy hours for two and the SEEFLÜGEL junior suites boast an innovative, minimalist "slow living" design concept with plenty of space, lake views, luxurious bathrooms and year-round sun balconies with infrared heating.
