Haubers Nature Resort
Pleasure to the power of two: thanks to the surrounding forests and meadows, guests at Haubers Naturresort enjoy soothing tranquillity and yet can quickly reach excursion destinations such as Lake Constance and Neuschwanstein Castle.
Welcome to upholstered heaven
The rooms and suites at the Gutshof are tastefully furnished. No less attractive are the rooms and suites in the adjoining building, which are furnished in a modern country house style. In every room, guests are treated to a view of the surrounding countryside through the wide window fronts. A special highlight: there is a variety of different pillows to choose from for a healthy and restful sleep. The themed rooms are particularly popular: cow heaven, swallow's nest, mountain hay, Schwarzenbach or Hochspitz - Alpine themes with luxurious furnishings make an overnight stay a very special experience.
In the service of nature
Since 2020, Haubers Naturresort in Oberstaufen in the Allgäu region has been home to ten bee colonies. The approximately 450,000 animals can be found in the newly constructed wooden beehive in the spacious outdoor area, where they live and work at an altitude of 900 meters with a view of the local Hochgrat mountain. Accessible only to guests, they enrich the hotel's 62 hectares of forest and meadows with something for all the senses. The hosts' latest nature conservation project is being implemented together with experienced beekeeper Willi Bauer and his wife Margit. Soon, up to 200 kilograms of Hauber's mountain meadow honey will be produced.
Relaxing in the "Haus am See"
The owner family Hauber can be particularly proud of their spa area, the "Haus am See". The 2500 m2 natural lake invites you to cool off, while the other elements offer relaxation and surprise with creative names: "Elementarium" lounge with vitality corner and open fireplace, "Seenebel" steam bath, "Kräuterstube" warming room, "Bergfeuer" Finnish sauna, "Meerauwald" relaxation room with waterbeds or the "Weitblick" relaxation room. The entire wellness area is only accessible from the age of 16 so that guests can really switch off in peace. The fitness room, infrared cabin and the panoramic terrace with an open fire by the lake, which invites you to daydream, have no names of their own but are no less popular.
