A fresh breeze is blowing
All rooms and suites in the hotel are modern yet cozy. But the future has been thought of here. The 21 rooms and suites in the Paradise category have been given a comprehensive living space upgrade. In the Säntis category (12 rooms), the bathrooms are being modernized and given a new look. From spring 2026, guests can look forward to six exclusive lake suites (65 m² each), which will be built directly on the newly created mountain lake - with a private jetty, bio-sauna and whirlpool on the terrace. Luxurious retreats especially for couples for special moments. Eight more mountain suites will be added at the beginning of 2027, located above the lake suites. They will offer the same high level of comfort and magnificent views of the Allgäu countryside on a generous 80 m².
In the new look
The Kristall-Spa is an elegantly redesigned wellness world in the form of a concept store, with a head spa, pre- and after-treatment area and the in-house cosmetics line "EWIG by Bergkristall" - inspired by the power of nature. In addition to the existing relaxation pool, an indoor sports pool will invite guests to enjoy active moments. In the "Nagelfluh" sauna area, guests can enjoy a new outdoor whirlpool with additional lounging areas. In future, the entire spa area will offer around 100 places to relax indoors and the same number outdoors, some of which will be covered. A modern, two-storey fitness studio (190 m²) with a gallery and a large selection of cardio and strength equipment invites you to work out in a relaxed atmosphere.
Enjoyment at its finest
At Bergkristall, food means one thing above all: joie de vivre. This has to do with all aspects of enjoyment. Being there with all your senses. Taking in the culinary delights as well as the surroundings, nature and people. Healthy has nothing to do with abstinence. For years, guests have been cooked here according to the Glyx principle. Carbohydrates are divided into "good" and "bad" according to the glycemic index. The higher the value, the higher the blood sugar level. This is why industrial sugar and white flour are omitted at Bergkristall wherever possible.
