An impressive sight: Even at first glance, the former courthouse from the early 20th century commands attention with its historic facade and the meter-high columns framing the entrance. The inviting ambience continues indoors. This boutique hotel, located in the heart of Düsseldorf’s Old Town, showcases in its 102 studios and suites just how seamlessly historic ambiance can be combined with ultra-modern design. Each studio and suite is a self-contained living space, complete with a fully equipped kitchen, separate sleeping and living areas, and a washer and dryer.
Delights: An array of restaurants and bars caters to the discerning palates of guests. “Pitti – cucina italiana” serves light Italian cuisine complemented by an excellent wine list. At “Mutter Ey Café,” breakfast is available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., alongside homemade cakes and lunch dishes. Fine dining and international cuisine are complemented by laid-back DJ music and a casually elegant atmosphere at “Mbassy by Franks.” Tea time is served on Saturdays in the “Wohnzimmer,” accompanied by daily live piano music. In the evening, the “Wohnzimmer” transforms into one of the city’s most beautiful hotel bars, boasting the largest selection of spirits. At Franks Club, regular jazz concerts by esteemed ensembles further elevate the cultural ambience.
