The Wellem
“The Art of Being Unique” encapsulates everything The Wellem Hotel strives for. In every room, at every moment, art here inspires guests to discover new perspectives on life as a whole or on its individual facets.
Culinary
Delights: An array of restaurants and bars caters to the discerning palates of guests. “Pitti – cucina italiana” serves light Italian cuisine complemented by an excellent wine list. At “Mutter Ey Café,” breakfast is available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., alongside homemade cakes and lunch dishes. Fine dining and international cuisine are complemented by laid-back DJ music and a casually elegant atmosphere at “Mbassy by Franks.” Tea time is served on Saturdays in the “Wohnzimmer,” accompanied by daily live piano music. In the evening, the “Wohnzimmer” transforms into one of the city’s most beautiful hotel bars, boasting the largest selection of spirits. At Franks Club, regular jazz concerts by esteemed ensembles further elevate the cultural ambience.
A Hotel with a Special Touch of
Art The hotel also impresses with its art: THE WELLEM houses an extensive collection of contemporary works, ranging from Jeff Koons to HA Schult to Julian Schnabel—displayed not only in the public spaces but also within the guest suites. As a singular amenity, the hotel offers an art concierge: he not only elucidates the masterpieces displayed within the hotel for curious guests, but also arranges bespoke guided tours of nearby museums and galleries.
