How to run a hotel perfectly? Friedrich Haerlin pleaded above all for common sense and warm hospitality: "Everything is just like at home. When we invite guests, everything is nice and clean, the table is laid, the cooking is good and sufficient and we have dressed smartly and look forward to our guests. We do nothing else in the hotel - except that everything is a bit bigger," said the founder of the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten, which was founded in 1897. To this day, he is omnipresent in the luxurious house on the Inner Alster, in old photographs as well as in the minds of the staff. In addition, one of the hotel restaurants is named after him - the Restaurant Haerlin.

The restaurant is atmospherically lit by a modern designer chandelier consisting of 1,000 strands of pearls and 20,000 glittering crystals. The GRILL offers upscale Hanseatic creations with art deco flair, while the trendy NIKKEI NINE focuses on Japanese-Peruvian fusion cuisine. At Cafe Condi you can enjoy a legendary breakfast and between April and October, guests are also welcome on the terrace, DECK 4 - directly on the Binnenalster, with a spectacular panoramic view of Jungfernstieg and Ballindamm. The crowning glory of the day is a visit to the Jahreszeiten Bar, the smallest bar in the city.
