Schlosshotel Kronberg
Hideaway with history: The traditional Schlosshotel Kronberg is located above the pretty Taunus town of Kronberg and in the middle of a spacious park with mature trees.
Sleep majestically
The 61 individually designed rooms and suites combine elegant antiques from the imperial era with stylish interiors. A special highlight: the former living quarters of the empress on the Beletage are now open to guests as exclusive suites. Much of the palace's furniture, carpets and impressive collection of antiques and paintings originate from the private estate of Victoria Empress Friedrich, mother of the last German Emperor Wilhelm II. British designer Nina Campbell has succeeded in showcasing this heritage in a contemporary way.
Dining like a king
Under the direction of head chef Gil Heinzelmann, the hotel offers fine, seasonal cuisine in the Schlossrestaurant Victoria - including a royal breakfast and fine dining menus in the evening. In the summer months, Enrico d'Assia takes over with classics of German and Italian cuisine. The offer is complemented by Frederick's with all-day service and a stylish bar that celebrates the art of cocktails and a selection of whiskies. Guests are also invited to Frederick's seven days a week from early until late and - depending on the season or preference - can take a seat in the cozy hall by the open fire or on the picturesque castle terrace with a view of the greenery.
Great offers
At any time of year, the Schlosshotel Kronberg offers a varied program of events with numerous culinary and cultural events. These include highlights such as the legendary kitchen party or the annual Midsummer Night's Dream, pumpkin carving for the whole family followed by a barbecue, regular cocktail courses or the classic salon concerts.
Whether stylish weddings, exclusive conferences or private celebrations - historic ballrooms, eight elegant salons and romantic outdoor locations such as the rose garden offer a setting for unforgettable events.
The Beauty Cottage with its wellness facilities, golf course, tennis and e-mountain bike rental invites you to relax. A varied events program with kitchen parties, concerts or picnics in the park rounds off the experience - a retreat full of history, enjoyment and hospitality.
