The new designer feel-good lobby with integrated bar exceeds all expectations: ultra-chic and really cozy ... The same applies to the new rooms and suites, the completely renovated children's play area, the newly created "Bergkristall" room in the Adler Stuben restaurant and the "Pavillon Diva", which has been converted from a coffee house into an extravagant conference and event location. The 1,800 square meter spa with a view of the greenery delights with fresh colors and new interior elements.
Culinary delights with that certain something
Despite the modernization, Katja Newman, hotel manager in the 16th generation of the family, has brought a touch of nostalgia into the hotel: one element of the gourmet board now included in the price is the original tea time in the afternoon with live music and piano. In keeping with the English model of afternoon tea, guests are surprised with sweet and savory treats in the stylish hotel lobby. The lunch buffet dishes created for the new culinary concept and the individual courses of the evening menu pamper the palate with regional and international dishes - strongly influenced by French and Asian cuisine. Meat, fish, vegetables, fruit and dairy products are purchased - as far as possible - from regional companies that pay attention to sustainability. Supporting Slow Food® Deutschland e. V. is also part of the restaurant's philosophy. For more than ten years, the starred restaurant chef Bernhard König has been at the helm of the department. His knowledge as a certified spice sommelier is always incorporated into the creation of the dishes.
