Castle Hotel Staufeneck
Breathtaking views and a hotel experience to revive: At Burghotel Staufeneck, you can experience a romance between historical charm and modern comfort.
House with character
Built in 1080 under Ludwig von Staufen, the castle was actively used until 1800, but was then allowed to fall into disrepair until large parts of it had to be demolished in 1844. However, the 27-metre-high castle keep remained, and in 1927 the grandmother of the current owners began to manage the site. The fourth generation of the family now runs the entire castle complex, which they acquired in 1990, including a hotel, restaurant and various event locations.
