The Florentin
Frankfurt gets a new retreat in the luxury segment: THE FLORENTIN by Althoff Collection opened its doors on December 1, 2025.
Tradition-conscious
The heart of the hotel is the listed villa from 1901, which still shapes the character of the hotel today and, together with the newly designed wings of the building, forms an architectural ensemble that respects history while interpreting it in a contemporary way. Traditional materials such as stone, wood and stucco meet clear lines, modern design and a finely tuned lighting dramaturgy. The sheltered Garden Courtyard acts as a green center - a place of tranquility that deliberately slows down the urban rhythm.
Elegant ambience
THE FLORENTIN has a total of 147 rooms and suites. The nine Signature Suites in the historic villa are particularly individual: each is dedicated to a personality who has shaped Frankfurt. Furniture, art and books have been specially curated so that each suite tells its own story. The new wings are dominated by reduction, natural colors and high-quality materials. Velvet, wood and stone create an atmosphere that is both elegant and familiar.
Grandiose gourmet world
In culinary terms, THE FLORENTIN is an address with attitude. The destination restaurant under the direction of head chef Niclas Nußbaumer stands for contemporary cuisine with a clear signature, characterized by classic craftsmanship and high-quality products. The offer is complemented by The Garden restaurant, which translates Mediterranean lightness into everyday life - from deliberately curated breakfasts and European classics at lunchtime to modern dishes to share in the evening. The Florentin Bar rounds off the gastronomic concept: cosmopolitan, precise, with iconic drinks and fine bar food.
The Spa provides a quiet antithesis to the city. Five treatment rooms, a light-flooded indoor pool, saunas and a spa garden create space for regeneration. In collaboration with high-quality partners, including Dr. Barbara Sturm, the spa focuses on individually tailored, scientifically based treatments.
