Agrad Chalets
A retreat for conscious connoisseurs
In the heart of the Chiemgau Alps, nestled in the idyllic landscape of Aschau im Chiemgau, lies a place that harmoniously combines tranquillity, design and sustainability. The Agrad Chalets not only offer luxurious comfort, but also a conscious break from everyday life. Here, modern architecture and alpine tradition merge to create a unique experience for discerning travelers.
Architecture in quiet harmony
The Agrad Chalets in Aschau im Chiemgau embody an architecture that blends seamlessly into the surrounding nature. Built on a gently revitalized site, the chalet village was designed by the Heinrichsberger family in collaboration with the architectural firm brüderl. The twelve chalets and fifteen suites are arranged in such a way that they respect the topography of the site and offer harmonious views of the surrounding mountains and Hohenaschau Castle. The use of natural materials such as wood, natural stone and metal emphasizes the connection to the region and creates an atmosphere of peace and security.
Living with a view
Each of the chalets offers around 75 square meters of living space and is designed for up to four people. With two bedrooms, a living area with fireplace and a private spa including sauna and hot tub, they offer the highest level of comfort. The suites, between 37 and 60 square meters in size, are divided into three categories and combine aesthetic clarity with functional efficiency. The interiors are characterized by high-quality materials, precise craftsmanship and a well thought-out colour concept that emphasizes natural tones and harmonious transitions.
Sustainability as a matter of course
The Agrad Chalets pursue a holistically sustainable concept. From the energy supply and photovoltaics to the high-quality building envelope, plastic-free processes and regional partnerships - sustainability is not just communicated here, it is lived. The Heinrichsberger host family attaches great importance to personal warmth, a clear awareness of quality and a genuine interest in their guests. Since opening in March 2025, the Agrad Chalets have developed into a retreat for all those who seek the true in the unobtrusive and for whom reduction is not a sacrifice, but a gain.
